Spring 2021

The natural environment of northern BC and the Yukon are the primary influence of this collection. Repetitive patterns and textures found in the Northern nature are echoed throughout the collection; The ripples on the lake that inspired the hand stitched gathers of the Terra gown; The reflection of the rocks just below the surface of glacial lakes and rivers that inspired the graduated sprays of crystals individually hand sewn onto the Lena dress.

The environment of the North is also reflected in the colour palette of the Spring 2021 collection. Blues reminiscent of lakes and glaciers, greens to embody the vast coniferous trees of the coastal environment and grasses the colour of the northern tundra.
